About the Position:
We are seeking a System Test Engineer to join our system validation team. In this role, you will actively participate in the creation and execution of system test scenarios, supporting complex IT network projects. These projects involve testing mobile communication infrastructures, focusing on public safety systems. Your primary responsibilities will include manual testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring system-level functionality of IT networks, server virtualization, and communication protocols.
Responsibilities:
• Develop, execute, and document system test scenarios.
• Test and validate complex IT network operations, focusing on mobile communication infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis to diagnose and resolve system design issues. • Collaborate with international teams to improve system performance and reliability.
• Work hands-on in the lab, replicating end-user scenarios. • Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify system-level issues.
• Provide support for project-specific testing needs, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
Requirements:
• Degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of testing experience.
• Practical knowledge of Linux (Red Hat preferred) and Windows servers.
• Familiarity with IT network configurations, routing protocols, and server virtualization.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with test methodologies and manual testing techniques.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Ability to work efficiently in an international, collaborative team environment.
• Attention to detail and focus on quality.
Nice to have:
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and JIRA.
• Knowledge of telecommunication standards.
• Experience in virtualization or computer network protocols
