We are seeking an experienced Senior VAT Specialist to join our tax team, playing a crucial role in
managing VAT-related processes across mulfiple regions, including the UK, UAE, KSA, Singapore, and
Ireland. This role will involve supporfing both VAT compliance and tax-related tasks, ensuring
accuracy and fimeliness of submissions and reporfing. The ideal candidate will have strong
organizafional skills, a deep understanding of VAT regulafions, and the ability to work collaborafively
across teams in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilifies:
- Assist the VAT team in submifting final VAT returns for various jurisdicfions, including the UK,
UAE, KSA, Singapore, and Ireland. - Provide support for internafional remote working processes, ensuring deadlines are met in a
fimely manner. - Collaborate with the team leader and support other tax-related tasks, ensuring smooth
operafion of the tax funcfion. - Ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports are prepared accurately and on
schedule. - Offer support to team leaders, finance managers, and accounts payable (AP) teams to ensure
VAT compliance and correctness. - Maintain high-quality process documentafion, including Standard Operafing Procedures
(SOPs). - Act as a backup to the Tax Advisor, coordinafing processes between team members and
supporfing overall team efficiency.
Requirements and Skills:
- 2-5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a Shared Service or Business Process
Outsourcing (BPO) environment. - In-depth understanding of VAT rules, compliance, and reporfing requirements.
- Complex and broad VAT knowledge; familiarity with Withholding Tax (WHT) is an advantage.
- Customer-focused with a strong service orientafion, delivering high-quality support to
internal stakeholders. - Aftenfion to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Strong ability to understand and manage complex tax mafters.
- Excellent organizafional skills and the ability to handle mulfiple priorifies and deadlines.
- Flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorifies.
Qualificafions:
- Relevant degree in accounfing, finance, or tax is preferred.
- Proficiency in tax regulafions and VAT-specific rules in internafional contexts.
- Experience with tax software and ERP systems is an advantage.
- Fluent in English, with strong communicafion skills to facilitate effecfive collaborafion across teams.
