You will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining financial reporting systems, enabling real-time performance analysis and data-driven decision-making. This role involves guiding the build of a system to support an end-to-end market data lifecycle, engineering data pipelines, automating workflows, and refining PnL reporting frameworks to support finance, operations, and risk teams. By leveraging advanced analytics, scalable architectures, and cutting-edge programming, you will play a key role in driving efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across the organization.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Craft advanced analytical tools to enable in-depth performance insights for leadership, portfolio managers, and financial, operational, audit, and technology teams.
  • Formulate a deep quantitative understanding of PnL workflows and data architecture to anticipate, adapt to, and fulfill evolving requirements.
  • Innovate and enhance reporting infrastructure to deliver high-performance, scalable, and efficient solutions for business partners.
  • Optimize data pipelines and infrastructure to handle large volumes of market data efficiently.
  • Resolve intricate challenges by conceptualizing, designing, and implementing creative technology-driven solutions.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of talented engineers and analysts.

What’s Required:

  • 7 + years of commercial experience in engineering, data warehousing, data analytics and ETL.
  • Proficiency in Python or C# for high-quality software development.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Airflow, or other data orchestration tools.
  • Advanced data visualization capabilities.
  • BA Degree in Computer Science, Quantitative Methods or a related technical discipline.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of full-cycle system design, development, maintenance, and user collaboration.

Nice to have:

  • Previous commercial experience with JavaScript and React, or similar frameworks.
  • Exposure to the financial sector working with risk management, valuation models, or trading infrastructures.
