Commercial Manager plays a critical role in optimizing pricing strategy and ensuring that reimbursements are maintained in all CEE markets. This role requires coordination between global and local stakeholders as well as managing all pricing activities for the cluster markets. This role will also support in tender applications as well as support wider commercial activities in primary Poland as well as other EU/Non-EU markets.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Engagement: Initiate and sustain consistent commercial dialogues with direct clients, identifying prospects and encouraging pivotal decision-makers to implement initiatives like tenders, new ventures, distribution channels, and operational enhancements.
  • Pricing Optimization: Refine and improve pricing strategies for our product lineup by formulating business cases and collaborating with external partners and clientele.
  • Tender Applications: Manage tender applications in CEE territories while serving as a backup for colleagues handling bids in other European Union regions.
  • Database Management: Oversee pricing submissions in centralized databases, maintain ERP pricing systems, and work closely with regional market access experts and central teams.
  • Contractual Oversight: Lead contract negotiations, track sales performance, and facilitate demand forecasting for the Polish market.
  • Cluster Initiatives: Actively contribute to CEE cluster projects, providing assistance to wider commercial teams across the cluster.

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • 5 + years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in market access and collaboration with wholesalers or partners.
  • Strong understanding of the Polish pharmaceutical landscape, including tender processes, reimbursement systems, and international reference pricing.
  • Fluency in Polish and a high proficiency in English; additional CEE languages are a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication capabilities, adept at collaborating with diverse teams and external partners while adhering to compliance standards.
  • Adaptability: Agile mindset with an openness to evolving tasks and responsibilities.
