For one of our top Clients, we are currently looking for a Ops Risk Analyst.
The position is hybrid 3 times from the office :)
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Investment Advisors, Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Private Equity, and Pension Funds to collect essential financial information on fund performance.
- Update fund Net Asset Values (NAVs), performance statistics, and other key financial data in Credit and internal reporting systems.
- Analyze fund strategies, performance metrics, and asset allocations to gain insights and support accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with the credit team to identify and address potential risks or areas of concern within funds.
- Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills in financial analysis, data management, and fund monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience:
Skills and Abilities:
- 1+ year of experience in finance area
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong articulation and diplomacy skills for effective communication.
- Motivated team player with a proactive attitude and ability to work independently.
- Ability to learn quickly and take initiative.
Technical Skills:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and management.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred but not required.
