About the Role
Join our team as a Data Engineer, where you'll design, develop, and maintain real-time data streaming and batch data integrations for regulatory operational reporting. Working in AWS and GCP environments, you'll play a key role in building the backbone for all regulatory reporting data. This is a dynamic position with significant growth potential in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, robust data pipelines.
- Ensure data quality and consistency by applying data engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data feed issues promptly.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to manage data assets effectively.
- Engage in all stages of the development process, from analysis to deployment.
About You
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering, integration, or real-time streaming.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Scala or Java.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Spark, Flink, Kafka, or similar.
- Knowledge of AWS or GCP cloud data processing solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on data quality.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to handle competing priorities.
- Excellent English communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience in the iGaming industry, particularly regulatory reporting.
- Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization.
- Familiarity with Airflow in GCP environments.
- Data warehousing experience.
- Business analysis and requirements gathering skills.
