For or client, international bank, we are looking for contractors for the role.
Duration: 6 months (extension highly probable)
Location: Warsaw / hybrid (3 d/w in office)
Main objective:
Contributing to integration of Infrastructure as Code pipelines and native Cloud services with specific focus on delivering robust technology solutions.
Tasks:
- Leading variety of engineering activities (adopting public cloud, integrating apps with cloud services to improve scalability)
- Collaborate with application developers, Infrastructure team and Cloud vendors
- Cooperation with Cloud Security team
- Ensure appropriate integration of functions
- Identify and define necessary system enhancements
- Perform support tasks
- Provide expertise and advanced knowledge in DevOps
- Provide in-depth analysis, develop solution and assess risks
Requirements:
- Experience in creating and managing enterprise containers platform (Kubernetes / Docker on AWS or GCP)
- SME in microservice architecture and container technologies
- SME in Kubernetes and related technologies (e.g.: S3, EFS, Lustre FSx, Cluster Autoscaler, Karpenter, KEDA)
- Experience with dev tools (e.g.: GitHub, Bitbucket, JIRA, Artifactory and Jenkins)
- Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Helm, kubectl, Hashicorp Vault
- Nice to have: fintech / banking sector experience, Java/Spring experience, app monitoring knowledge (Splunk, Elasticsearch and Grafana)
- Fluent in English (C1)
- Work permit for B2B in Poland
