For one of our top clients in the finance sector, we are looking for an AML Specialist.

Please notice, that this position is on-site, office located in Warsaw).

For this position, we can offer a B2B contract or contract of mandate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducted AML checks to ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory obligations.
  • Responded promptly and knowledgeably to client queries, business inquiries, and internal department requests.
  • Identified and escalated risks and issues, ensuring swift resolution and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Assisted in identifying, defining, and implementing process efficiencies, enhancing operational workflows in EMEA and globally.
  • Participated in regular meetings with management, compliance, and quality assurance teams, fostering strong cross-departmental relationships.
  • Contributed to ad hoc onboarding projects, showcasing flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
  • Provided additional support within the Client Onboarding (COB) team, ensuring seamless operations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Over 1 year of relevant experience in legal and compliance, client onboarding processes, or KYC/AML regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to identify, address, and mitigate risks effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance standards.
  • A quick learner with the ability to absorb and understand significant volumes of information within a short timeframe.
  • Self-motivated team player who takes ownership of tasks and demonstrates accountability.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in problem-solving and facilitation, with a mature and influential communication style.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in high-pressure, high-volume environments while maintaining accuracy and a positive attitude.
  • Adaptable to change and new challenges, demonstrating a growth mindset and resilience.
  • Language skills: Proficiency in French, Arabic, or Hebrew is highly advantageous.
